Hi! My name is McKenzie. I'm (going to be in January 2017) a 22 year old student at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois studying to earn my Masters in Nursing. I did my undergrad at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I studied Food Science and Human Nutrition.
Since graduating, I have worked in nutrition education and medical device marketing. Both of which I quickly learned were not what I was meant to be doing. I have always felt pulled to the medical field and when I was accepted into the nursing program at Rush, I knew it was exactly where I was supposed to be. A combination of medicine and nutrition is something everyone can get excited about! Right?!
I am all about eating tons of good food and nourishing your body without restrictions. Food deserves to be a happy topic! I am so excited to share nutrition tips and tricks, and eventually nursing ones as well!
